Exploring painting and sculpture deconstruction of painted paper into woven, sewn, distressed, torn and repaired constructions. These pieces are a hands-on approach to making art. Deriving from an intuitive, process driven place, in these works I focus more on the marks, stitches and paint than creating a representational subject matter. Working the materials is as important as the end result.
